Council statement of solidarity following the Australian Indigenous Voice referendum

As the Australian Council of Heads of Social Work Education, we reaffirm our commitment to solidarity with Australian First Nations peoples in the aftermath of the referendum. In this moment we reflect on how we practice social justice as a central tenet of Social Work education. We commit to listening with respect to the knowledge and wisdom of First Nations peoples and truth telling as a way forward.
